XL Recordings act The Golden Silvers tracked their new album ‘True Romance’ with producer Lexx. RAK publishing was ecstatic to finally sign them after a 6-month chase and negotiation.
Hero – Beat Route – Elliot Randall
Zimbabwean artist Netsayi recorded and mixed the bulk of her album with Bacon and Quarnby at RAK studios 2, 3 and 4 for World Connect records.
Fibes on Fibes – Kim Wilde
RAK Publishing writer David Saw did a number of collaborations during may and june including Australian artist Sarah Archer, Marley Harwood and Lotti Mullen.
Bernard Butler returned to RAK to produce Supervision artist Kate Jackson and Fiction Records Kate Nash.

Studio 3 had a lick of paint in January 09’
Rumble strips album “Welcome to the walk alone’ produced by Mark Ronson and engineered by Richard Woodcraft soon to be released on Island Records.
Beverly Knight recorded 5 tracks to be release on her own label. Notable collaborations came from Chaka Khan and Robin Gibb. Terry Lewis (Jam and Lewis) spent the weekend in studio 4 with her hanging out !

The Feeling – island records
New artist Lotti Mullen (production deal through Island Records) recorded the David Saw/Ben Taylor song ‘Wicked Way’ recorded and mixed by Tim Goalen.
XL recordings act The Golden Silvers did 3 days of rehearsal in preparation for a number of festival appearances this year including Glastonbury (3 shows) Latitude, Victoria Park and Bestival to name but a few.
